For those of you who are interested...
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
was hosted at my house this past weekend. Friends gathered around and celebrated exams being halfway done, being in the presence of other friends, food, and most importantly, ugly sweaters. My house smelt less like Value Village than I expected it to, and at one point things got real hot... in the sense of temperature and attractiveness.
It was nice seeing everyone together again. And I know we say every time, but these shindigs really do need to happen a lot more.
I think everyone had a good time, but I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
If anyone wants any photos for keeps, email me @ k.interisano@gmail.com. There will be a slight fee.
I told myself in September I would take things slow and not rush into a committed relationship
This past summer when I switched over to Koodo, I thought a sketchy flip phone would be able to tie me over for the next little while. I couldn't justify owning a Smartphone and had no intentions on buying one till I graduated from school.
Let's just say, I think my past self was missing a few screws.
I finally decided that now was the time to upgrade; "go big or go home" as I always say.
It's so nice not hearing the "clicking" sound the buttons make when you press down on them.
It's so nice to check my email from my phone... Not that I get much, but I can still appreciate the convenience. One day...
It's so nice not staring at a tiny screen when I open my phone. Instead a get a sleek interface that I can slide my finger across. Hours of fun in itself.
It's so nice to finally be able to take decent looking pictures. Which I can send to others AND email to myself.
It's so nice to look like I know what I'm doing with my new phone, but really I'm just lost.
I WILL conquer the iPhone 4.
For now, here I am enjoying Christmas and the iPhone all in one photo!
yours truly

Hello fall equinox
I only ever eat Nutella when I'm away at school.
However...
This year I forgot to bring it with me when I moved.
This needs to be fixed.

One more week left of work
It's interesting how a quick phone conversation, with someone completely random, can put you into a good mood.

I used Skype for the first time last night.
Me: "Did you play with your hair today?"
Josh: "Did you play with your butt today?"

Perseid Meteor Shower update
I couldn't have asked for a better night to watch the meteor showers. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and we had such a great view of the stars and the milky way that I didn't want to leave. I wait for this night every year, and I always keep it open so that I can camp with my lawn chair under the stars.
This year, the boyfriend and I decided to watch the meteors by the windmills in Lowbanks. There aren't any city lights in the area so it made for great conditions to watch the night sky.
We both had our cameras set up, but were unable to capture any meteors in the sky. Check out this group on Flickr dedicated to this year's shower: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Perseid+Meteor+Shower+2010.

Scotch pop-up tape
Seriously? Is our society THAT lazy that we can't rip off our own pieces of tape? What if you want smaller pieces than they give? What if you want longer pieces? I feel like my privilege to rip off my own tape has been taken away by Scotch.
Thanks a lot.

Nope, not happening!
I will NOT miss the Perseid meteor showers this year due to cloudy skies and/or rain.
