Maybe one day I'll understand how this works

Just when I thought my days of sickness were over... BAM I get hit with a cough that makes me sound like I smoke 10 packs of cigarettes a day. I first noticed the hacking on Monday night, but it only started bothering me today. I feel like I should constantly be wearing one of those SARS masks or something. 

I always get this urge to call my mom just to complain that I feel like crap every time I get sick. I planned on giving her a call this evening, but she did that weird thing where it's like she reads your mind and gives you exactly what you want... 

Around 4:30pm I got a call from my mom and it honestly made my day. I love how it seems like she has this awesome motherly power where she can sense whenever I need to hear her voice. 

This song was playing in my head the entire time I wrote my midterm on Monday

I must have looked pretty weird bobbing my head and tapping my pencil while writing my essay.

And now for something completely different

Aha! I have successfully found an online clip of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Terry Jones appearing on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallen. I read about their appearance on the blog, this wheel's on fire, today and was pretty disappointed to find out that I missed it as it aired last night. Thankfully the Internet came to my rescue as some videos were uploaded onto a site. Although it was awesome to see the guys around each other again, there was still a little disappointment in me as my favourite Python, Michael Palin, was not on stage with them.

It's great to see that after 30 or so years they still have the same zaney attitudes and still know how to make people laugh. Watching this clip makes me want to watch the entire season of Flying Circus all over again. Unfortunately I can't because school is currently taking over my life.
