I had my first run of the season outside today. Even though it still isn't the best weather for running, I missed the feeling of battling against the wind, dodging people walking on the sidewalks, and using certain landmarks to push myself to improve my stance. I love saying to myself, "Only after you've reached the fire hydrant you can walk", but I rarely do.
I can't follow my regular path through the Arboretum because it's still covered with snow, so I'm stuck running along the sidewalks. I'm not complaining too much because I'll take this near-spring weather over blizzards anytime.
Yours truly.
