Apparently I'm most comfortable in my green zippy hoodie, a pair of long-johns, and my socks pulled up over said long-johns. Although you can't see it in the bottom picture, the answer is yes, I'm wearing socks (they're salmon coloured!) pulled over my scotty-dog lj's.
