Last semester in my film class we looked at how the distribution of video media, like video cameras and videos included in cell phones, is changing the definition of what it means to be a journalist.

Today in my Subcultures and the Mainstream Media class we are looking at the same topic.

Since I've had the same professor for both classes, some of the points he brought up in the powerpoint today sounded familiar. For example, the "Don't Taze me Bro" Youtube video. It was shown last semester in film and again in today's class.

I wouldn't be surprised if my professor used the same powerpoint presentation for both classes.
