Post-Surgery Conversations

Yesterday my mom told me a conversation we had after I woke up from my wisdom teeth surgery. Apparently I was trying to convince my mom that I was in perfect condition to drive home from the oral surgeons...

As we approached the traffic light, this is how I directed my mom:

Me: "Put your blinker on, slow down and merge into the left lane, turn left, and accelerate".

My mom said, "Those were some pretty big words coming out of someone who just woke up from the anesthetic".
