My mom called me around 12:30pm today to tell me that my dad would be at my Toronto house around 2ish to pick me up and bring me home. She had the best news for me too. She said that for dinner we were having manicottis with garlic bread. I've been craving garlic bread since September, but haven't had the dedication to make it myself.
I love my mom's garlic bread. She mixes garlic powder and margarine in a bowl and spreads it on both sides of the bread. Then she wraps the loaf in tin foil and cooks it in the oven until it turns delicious and amazing.
Let's just say, it was a good kickoff to my Christmas break.
